When rising foreclosures meet dropping prices, sellers have a BIG problem: sellers who can’t make payments need to sell, but often owe more than their property is worth.
The solution? Short sales, where you negotiate with the seller’s BANK to take less than the balance owed to pay off the mortgage, relieving them of the debt and the stress of foreclosure while making a tidy profit flipping or keeping the property, too.
Columbus-area investor Tom Duke has been doing these for over a decade, and has experienced how the process has changed during that time. He’ll share his knowledge including :
- WHY banks do this in the first place, when they ‘lose money’ on every one of these deals
- How to find the right sellers to work with
- How you ‘make the offer’ (it’s NOT what you’re used to, trust us),
