January 16:

Join Cincinnati’s largest and most active community of real estate investors, landlords, and flippers for an evening of learning, networking, and connection-building. Guests are always welcome, and your first meeting is free when you RSVP and download a free guest pass at the link below!

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month to help you build your real estate investing business—and personal wealth—with a focus on what works right here in the Greater Cincinnati area. Here’s what you’ll learn at this month’s meeting:

7:30-9:00 pm
Women Who Rock the Real Estate World

Real estate investing creates opportunities for EVERYONE, but HOW you become successful does, indeed, depend in part on you.

Women in the business have both challenges and advantages that guys don’t—and whether you’re a lady or a gent, you can learn a lot from the ways in which they approach everything from negotiation to sales to dealing with contractors to organizing their businesses around the demands of family, hobbies, and life.

Our panel of successful female REIA members do every strategy from wholesaling to retailing to rentals to creative financing to apartments to AirBnB and commercial properties, and they’ll answer any question you have about their success secrets and challenges.

Ladies, you KNOW why you need to be here; guys, you can learn a lot from these women about how to improve YOUR business, too!

6:00-7:00 pm
The New Cincinnati Rental Law, with Councilman Greg Landsman

A sweeping new law is now in effect in the city of Cincinnati. It, among other things:

  • Restricts the conditions under which you can raise a tenant’s rents or evict that tenant
  • Requires you to give a specific written notice to tenants along with their leases
  • Limits the amount of late fees that you can charge
  • Allows your tenants to make need repairs to your property, and deduct those repairs from their rents

Greg Landsman (who introduced the original bill) will be at REIA at 6 to explain why he felt it was important, along with the requirements for landlords. If you own, or think you might someday own, rentals in the City of Cincinnati, you NEED to be at this meeting.
