At our in-person Cincinnati Chapter meetings, we love to bring you LOCAL experts and information that just can’t be duplicated online, with a national audience.
At February’s meeting, we’re doing that in TWO ways: by showing you how to lower your Ohio Property Taxes, and by getting you face-to-face with our experienced local members for some Tri-State area advice and mentoring.

Every dime you can save on rental properties goes straight into your pocket, and one of the easiest ways to lower your expenses without skimping on necessities is to pay less property tax.
Many rentals in Southern Ohio are over-valued for tax purposes, and it’s about to get worse, because 2023 is the triennial re-evaluation year for many counties, which means your valuations are all going UP.
In short, knowing how to successfully appeal that valuation can save you hundreds of dollars per year per property.
There are tricks to making sure that your tax appeal is successful, though—and no one knows them better than attorney Chris Finney, who’s done hundreds of successful tax appeals. Except maybe Matt Nolan, who’s the county auditor whose office is responsible for setting those valuations
The two of them will share how to file a tax appeal, what to prepare for the ‘hearing’ to prove that the county has it wrong, and what to absolutely NOT do if you want to pay less in property taxes, starting now.
