Make Owning Rentals not Suck, Plus Intro to Flipping, Best Rental Contracts, and Board Elections!
Our October 19th meeting is packed from end to end with networking, sharing, and information about how to create short-term AND long-term profits…
7:30-9:00 p.m. Main Meeting
How to Make Owning Rentals Not Suck
Long-term assets are the key to long-term income—we all know that.
But at the same time, we find that many REIA members delay buying rentals, or limit how many they own because they perceive rentals as high-hassle, time-intensive, or otherwise unpleasant to own. And others find them unpleasant but continue to acquire more and more despite thinking it sucks.
That’s why we’ve brought together a panel of REIA members who’ve figured out how to use systems, management tricks, technological hacks, and staffing procedures, and, of course, just buying the right property in the first place to make owning rentals easier, less stressful, and more profitable.
Whether you’re just thinking about your first rental or are already in the rental business, you’ll get lots of valuable time- and stress-savings advice here.
Early meeting for new investors
Intro to Quick Cash Strategies: the Hows and Whys of “Flipping”. Wealth is the ultimate goal, but getting quick $5,000-$15,000 checks is nice, too. Flipping properties helps to build reserves, pay debts, and, of course, let you have the lifestyle you want. Learn WHAT you can flip (it’s not just ugly houses), the basics of the processes you’ll go through, and why you probably want a flipping strategy in your toolbag at this meeting.
Early meeting for active investors
Crucial Rental Clauses Workshop. An important part of any rental business is having the right lease and associated paperwork. At this workshop, you’ll share your favorite lease clauses, associated documents like applications and disclosures, and techniques for explaining and enforcing your rental docs. Please bring at least one copy of any favorite contracts or clauses; we’ll get them on the website for attendees, too.
