Virtual Online Meeting!
We’d love to see you on this Friday’s OREIA Weekly Market Update, and you’ll be glad you made it. Our guest(s) this week are from the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. Hear directly from the organization about what they’re doing and watching in regards to Ohio legislation as it pertains to their goals.
Quoting directly from the Chamber of Commerce’s Legislative Priorities webpage,
“We are going to make sure the legislature doesn’t stray from their main priority of making Ohio a better place in which to do business. Our goal for 2019-2020 is to create policy that further strengthens free enterprise. At the beginning of each new legislative session, the Ohio Chamber develops a list of Public Policy Priorities that make it clear to legislators what Ohio employers expect from their state legislature. A competitive, modern economy will create an environment in which businesses can expand and create jobs with less government interference. When businesses are not stifled, Ohio’s communities thrive and all Ohioans win.”
As you can see, a key component of their advocacy is reduced regulation and legislation. As a business owner, you owe it to yourself to become (more) familiar with groups like the Ohio Chamber. So register right now while you’re here, and we’ll see you Friday!
