Creative Partnering
Partners are different than private lenders: they own part of the equity, mortgage paydown, tax benefits, and income of your deal. But they don’t always own half, and they don’t always own the same amount of each of them, and they don’t need 100% of the money to ‘buy’ the deal in order to be your partner.
In this month’s creative finance focus group, we’ll talk about cash partners and credit partners: who they are, how to find and screen them, how deals look when they’re involved as private lenders, and cash partners, and when they use their credit; and how to creatively divide the benefits to make everyone happy.
