At this month’s creative buying and selling focus group, we’ll discuss the hows and whys of putting together mortgages and contracts for deed that you can then sell to a note buyer for cash if you so choose. There IS a science to it, and it’s important that you have the right documents and due diligence in place if you want to get the best possible price for your full or partial note. This is important when you’re SELLING a property with financing, but just as important when you’re BUYING, in case it’s important to your seller that HE be able to convert the payment stream to cash at some point.
